We all make mistakes, there may come a time where we have either installed something that KODI is simply not agreeing with or we’ve installed a custom build and although it may be a pretty sweet set up it wasn’t for you and all you want to do it return your KODI back to normal.

The simplest way to factory reset your Kodi is to browse to your Kodi data folder and delete it. I will list the folder location for a few operating systems.

Operative system File path
Android Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi (see note)
iOS /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/Kodi
Linux ~/.kodi/userdata/
Mac /Users/<your_user_name>/Library/Application Support/Kodi/ (see note)
OpenELEC /storage/.kodi
Windows Start – type %APPDATA%\kodi – press <Enter>

You may need to unhide hidden folder in android first before you will be able to see the .kodi folder
