Troubleshooting Apps


Configurator apps are compatible with ONLY 90% of android devices. If it did not work for you, please check out all options below. If none work, then email or live chat with us and we will make it compatible with your device. Here are the troubleshooting ideas:

02/09/2018: Configurator apps will be update for compatibility with ANDROID 8 {OREO} in 3 to 7 days. Android 8 users may presently experience crashes in present versions of Configurator apps ! 

1. If you cannot install app, you may need to uninstall previous version first

2. App crashes on startup (this normally happens on Outdated TV boxes)?  You will need to install or update Google Play Services. Google Play services is very important in order for app to run. App will guide you only if Google Play Store is signed in on device

3. How much internal memory is available? You may need to free up some

4. Your ISP maybe blocking our servers. Check your internet connection or use a VPN

5. Issues with activation or payment? Please email with payment receipt and device reg# for quick solution. You will find your device ID on activation page

6. Your Kodi is setup but not working? Kodi addons are unstable most times. Once your Kodi was setup, then app works! However, keep app installed for notification when builds are updated. Most updated builds will work perfectly

7. Not seeing addons you have installed? If you are using Kodi 17 up, you will have to enable addons after you have installed them. Please check out Configurator for Kodi YouTube channel on how to do so

8. Too many ads? Developer keep servers running solely by ads. Without ads app could never be free. Make sure to check out a few ads as well as share app with others. This will eliminate ads on your device!

9. Free VS Premium ? Activate app to be a premium user. Premium users get no ads, Exodus Live TV ads free as well, no server maxed out issues, 24hr technical support. Go premium today.

10. If you keep seeing the “No internet connection” popup and you are sure you have internet connection on device, this means that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is blocking your connection to our server as well as many more online services. Simply switch on a VPN or change your ISP to resolve issue
